How to Use

Add Watermarks to PDF

  1. Drag and drop a PDF file onto the upload area, or click to browse
  2. Choose watermark type: Text or Image
  3. For text watermarks, enter your text and adjust font size and color
  4. For image watermarks, upload a PNG or JPG image and adjust the scale
  5. Set opacity, rotation, and position as desired
  6. Select which pages to apply the watermark to
  7. Click "Update Preview" to see a live preview
  8. Click "Save Watermarked PDF" to download the result

Privacy & Security

  • All processing happens locally in your browser using pdf-lib and PDF.js
  • Your PDF files are never uploaded to any server
  • No data is stored or transmitted
  • Works completely offline once the page is loaded

Tips

  • Use low opacity (20-40%) for subtle background watermarks
  • Diagonal rotation (-45°) is the most common watermark style
  • For image watermarks, PNG files with transparency work best
  • Use "Custom Range" to watermark only specific pages (e.g. 1,3,5-8)
